Beth Diggs

Beth graduated from Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia, with a degree in biology and attended graduate school at Northern Michigan University, where she studied education and received her teaching certificate.  She is a former science, music, and taekwondo instructor living in western North Carolina.  She is a world-certified fourth-degree black belt in taekwondo as well as a photographer and writer. 


​She is passionate about wildlife and conservation and is a member of many professional organizations that help protect animal habitats.  Her photos have been featured by Audubon, InsideClimate News, Birds and Blooms magazine, Wildlife in North Carolina magazine and many non-profit organizations that promote conservation and education.  Her photos have also  been featured on social media sites.  

 

She has written several books including, "Menopausal Master," which is described as a "defining narrative dedicated to readers seeking the answers to questions of faith, belief and opinions on the individual and societal scale."

Her children's book, "Who Wants Dinner?," is a beautiful book that is charming and educational. The detailed photos of owls engage readers with thought provoking concepts about themselves and the raptors around them. It provides an interesting backstory for adults to also enjoy. The book features several non-profit organizations that educate and rehabilitate birds for conservation purposes.
